Who writes and reviews our content
Most of our guides are written or reviewed by Ray Tay, Co-Founder and Managing Director of VIVOS PTE. LTD., who holds VIVOS’s ACRA Registered Filing Agent licence (FA20240323) and its MOM Employment Agency licence (24S2425). Every published guide carries a byline naming its author and reviewer, so you can see who stands behind the content, not just when it was published.
How we source facts
Rules on incorporation, Employment Pass eligibility, and tax are drawn from primary sources: ACRA, the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), IRAS, and other official Singapore government portals. Where we compare VIVOS against another provider or cite a statistic, we link to the named source — a competitor’s own pricing page, a review platform (Trustpilot, Google Business Profile, G2, Glassdoor), or a press article — rather than stating unsourced figures. Where a fact can’t be verified, the article says so instead of guessing.
How often we update
Each guide carries a “Published” and “Reviewed by” date. We re-check guides against current ACRA, MOM and IRAS rules when we become aware of a regulatory change — for example, annual MOM COMPASS/salary threshold updates or Singapore Budget announcements — and update the article and its date accordingly. An older publish date doesn’t necessarily mean the content is out of date, but if you’re relying on a specific figure for a decision, we recommend confirming it against the official source linked in the article or with our team directly.
Corrections
If you spot an error — a wrong figure, an outdated rule, or a broken source link — please let us know. We review every report and correct confirmed errors promptly.
