Co-Founder & Managing Director
Ray Tay is a co-founder and the Managing Director of VIVOS Pte. Ltd., a Singapore corporate services and immigration firm founded in 2024. Before VIVOS he spent more than 15 years in corporate and business banking at HSBC, Standard Chartered and OCBC, most recently as a Senior Vice President and team leader at HSBC.
I’ve worked extensively in ASEAN markets, providing tailored solutions for distressed situations, compliance challenges, and scaling opportunities. My unique blend of professional expertise and personal grounding ensures clarity and success, even in the most complex business environments.

Why I started VIVOS
I spent more than 15 years in banking and I loved it. I started in business development at OCBC, spent a decade at HSBC working with SMEs and the international subsidiaries of large corporates, moved to Standard Chartered as a Senior Associate Director, and returned to HSBC as a Senior Vice President leading a team that looked after SMEs and multinational companies.
Across all of those years, one thing kept coming up. I met many founders with real potential who struggled to grow across borders, not because their ideas were weak, but because the compliance, banking and paperwork around expansion felt impossible to get right. Too often they were passed between providers who each held one piece of the puzzle. That is why I co-founded VIVOS in 2024: one team that takes care of the whole journey and is honest about what will and won’t work.
What I do at VIVOS
I lead growth and advisory. I help founders, investors and families set up and run companies in Singapore and Malaysia, choose the right immigration pathway, set up family offices and holding companies, and prepare for bank account opening. My background in corporate banking means I know what a bank wants to see before it says yes.

- 2018 to 2021: Senior Associate Director, Standard Chartered. Relationship management for SMEs.
- 2008 to 2018: HSBC. Business development team lead, then vice president and relationship manager for the international subsidiaries of large corporates, then vice president and relationship management team leader for small and mid-market clients.
- 2007 to 2008: Business Development Manager, OCBC.
