Singapore EntrePass Eligibility & Renewal Checker

MOM evaluates a new EntrePass application on two things at once: the company (registered with ACRA, at least 30% held by the applicant, and venture-backed or owning innovative technologies) and the applicant (meeting at least one of five qualifying criteria — funding, incubator/accelerator backing, a past exit, registered IP, or a research collaboration). Existing EntrePass holders face a separate, rising bar at each renewal: Total Business Spending and a Local Workforce headcount. Use the checker below for an instant, indicative read on either path, drawn from our full EntrePass eligibility & renewal guide.

Singapore EntrePass Eligibility & Renewal Checker

A free, indicative check against MOM’s published EntrePass criteria for a new pass and for renewal. Figures verified against mom.gov.sg (eligibility page last updated by MOM 14 August 2026; renewal page last updated by MOM 1 January 2026).

Step 1 — Company & shareholding

Excluded business types are never eligible for EntrePass regardless of funding or IP. If your business is a general tech or innovative venture with no mass-market consumer-service element, this normally clears easily.

Step 2 — Venture-backed or innovative, and at least one qualifying criterion

Both a “venture-backed or owns innovative technologies” company profile and at least one qualifying criterion below are required. Select the single criterion that best fits — you only need to meet one.

This tool gives an indicative estimate based on MOM’s published EntrePass eligibility criteria, checked against mom.gov.sg on 17 September 2026. It is not an official assessment and does not constitute immigration advice — Enterprise Singapore makes the final call on funding-source recognition, IP strength and research-collaboration verification. For a definitive check, talk to our MOM-licensed team (Employment Agency Licence 24S2425).

How this checker works

The New pass tab checks the two gates MOM applies before it even looks at qualifying criteria — company age (a company incorporated more than 12 months before the application date is assessed under renewal criteria, not new-pass criteria) and at least 30% shareholding — then lets you select whichever one of MOM’s five qualifying routes fits: raised funding, incubator/accelerator backing, a past exit, registered IP, or an ongoing research collaboration.

The Renewal tab looks up MOM’s published Total Business Spending (TBS) and Local Workforce (LWF) thresholds for your renewal cycle, then compares them against the numbers you enter. LWF is calculated as PMEs plus LQS employees divided by three, capped at 12 LQS employees, exactly as MOM defines it.

What this tool does not do

This checker gives an indicative estimate only. It cannot verify whether a specific investor, incubator or accelerator is recognised by Enterprise Singapore, assess the strength of a specific IP claim, or confirm a research collaboration is verifiable by an institution contact — all of which involve agency discretion. For a definitive assessment tied to your specific company, speak with our MOM-licensed EntrePass team (Employment Agency Licence 24S2425).
