Can I move to Dubai through my own company?
Yes. You can set up a UAE free zone or mainland company and use it to sponsor your own residency visa. This means no employer is needed, as your company sponsors you directly. The number of visas available depends on the licence type and your office arrangement, which we advise on before you commit. We handle the incorporation and visa process end to end.
What is the UAE Golden Visa?
The Golden Visa is a 10-year self-sponsored residency for investors, entrepreneurs, skilled professionals and exceptional talent. It does not require an employer, and it allows you to live and work in the UAE without tying your status to a job. You can also sponsor your spouse and children. Each category carries its own eligibility criteria, which we assess before you apply.
Is there income tax in Dubai?
No. There is no personal income tax in the UAE, and no capital gains tax on individuals. Corporate tax at 9% applies to business profits above AED 375,000 for financial years commencing on or after 1 June 2023, and a Qualifying Free Zone Person may benefit from a 0% rate on qualifying income. VAT of 5% also applies, with registration mandatory once taxable supplies exceed AED 375,000.
Can my family come with me?
Yes. Your spouse and children can relocate on dependant visas, which we handle alongside your own application so everyone moves together. Sponsorship is subject to the standard minimum salary and accommodation requirements, and to attested marriage and birth certificates, which we will guide you through.
